Cant read or copy files fron an NTFS formatted hard drive

Hi, I have a hard drive installed as secondary. About couple of months ago i think i messed about with the hard drive and did write protection on it. Now when i try to read the files or copy them it gives me an error saying Access denied, make sure disk is not write protected.
All the files which are mp3 are appearing in green colour where the use to be in black b4.

Please help
