Sybolic Link?

Is it possible to create what in unix we call a sybolic link? My wife and I play simcity4 and the game creates a folder under the user profile. When either of us work on a city I want it to update one set of files. So when I log in I can view her city and when She logs in she can see mine...

I creating a (z

drive to contain this data but I can only create a shortcut to the drive in the location where the game reads... The game ignores the shortcut and creates a new 'SimCity 4' directory.

Any idea's?

Hey there wantmilk! You might have better luck if you click on the Software tips and tricks community link at the top and post this on "other forums". They are for unix and linux, etc.

You do come up with some interesting scenarios though, lol!

Sorry, did you read the question??? This doesn't have anything to do with unix. It's SimCity 4 on XP....

Why would I post it in a unix forum?

basically you want a shortcut that combines the two saved games, each from a different user?
