Wowexec?

I keep getting this: WOWEXEC caused an access violation in ntdll.dll at
Ox77f52612. Can anyone help to correct this? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.
On my computer, WOWEXEC and nt.dll are in the Windows\System32 folder.
WOWEXEC = Windows Win16 Application Launcher. Copyright: Microsoft Corp.
nt.dll = NT Layer DLL. Copyright: Microsoft Corp.
It appears they are legit. Could the copyrights be forged? I ran a virus check. Nothing came up.
