Ergh! xp uninstall help! PLease!!

I accidently installed xp onto my computer, not nowin if it had been registered with another computer, and it had, so i cant activate, and there is no way of uninstalling it from the ad/remove button! what do i do? any ideas?

Well with XP you have one of two choices. Either get a registered version and do a complete install from scratch, or fdisk your hard drive and reinstall whatever operating system you had previously. Either way, you have to do a complete new install which means completely erasing every trace of the old version first.

One specific design quality the folks at Microsoft breathed into XP is a software piracy prevention. This is why you are having so much trouble.
