wizard new hardware cache problem

I'm trying to update my mobile phone through my computer. This is a very specific process, and during this process i have to restart my phone and then for 5 seconds a special function is used which requires a special driver (which i have).

This is the only moment i can install my drivers, but since i refused to start the wizard new hardware last time i tried this, it doesn't show up anymore.. Probably because to Windows, my mobile phone is an 'known-unknown object'.

Does anyone know how to clear the wizard new hardware cache so that every new piece of hardware that i connect to my computer is UNKNOWN?

THx
