Sound card recognition problem
Hello!
I have Windows XP installed on my computer.Often when I start my machine I found that my system is unable to play sounds. But I've sound card installed in it. The sound driver is supplied by the sound card manufacturer. It's an ESS Maestro driver.I get the following error message when I open the volume control option:-
There are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices,go to Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Add Hardware.
If any 1 can please help me out to find a solution for this problem,I 'll be grateful to him/her.
