Windows won't boot after install

I got half way through installing Windows XP on my ABIT AA8 DURAMAX motherboard for the second time, after getting spy wared to death. All seemed to be going fine till it re started. Now it won't boot past the windows logo loading screen, if it gets that far before the computer just goes off without any beeps or anything. It just loses all power and goes off.

Now the fans don't even work when the computer is switched on for those 10-20 seconds it stays on. Only the motherboard fan will work, the CPU fan will only work if plugged into the motherboard and not through the usual way, and the case fans just don't respond at all.

If the CPU fan is plugged in and going the computer will stay on the BIOS setting for as long as you want, but still won't boot past the loading screen. If it's not plugged in then whatever you do the computer will turn off and then go off within seconds.

I never had this problem till I started re-installing windows xp and I'm at a loss to what to do with it now. I believe I've tried everything possible.

I seen to me that you need a more powerful "Power Supply" and you almost certainly have to have the CPU fan plugged in to the mother board.
