When u install the sp2 package.. it stores all the files in the local disk.
For example like D:\54b0dc3e984e4b0e44f1897293 or C:\54b0dc3e984e4b0e44f1897293. do u know that if u move any folders in the folder "54b0dc3e984e4b0e44f1897293"(which ur sp2 files are) that folder will be not accessible/useable or either u cant delete that folder. If u try anyway, there will be an error says "access is denied" Which means that we cant do anything to that folder. Well, i try system restore, it works but the files in the folder became corrupted.

Why were you removing files from SP2 ? Anyway, here are the instructions to remove SP2 from your computer. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/remove.mspx

I have not had any problem with SP2... which is why I left it on my computer.
