Mtp

I have a portable audio player that's compatible with NTG(Napster To Go). For some reason, when I plug it in to my home PC, it wants me to install a driver for it, well, it's not supposed to because it's in MTP mode. It works fine on my work PC, so I know it's a SW issue. From what I've read, MTP is in WMP10. Well, I've (re)installed WMP and tried other things with no luck. Can anyone shed some light as to why my MTP isn't working and a possible solution?
