Shut Down Problems

Need a little help, just lately XP started to freeze at "Windows is shutting down" and I have to hold the power button for it to shut off. I've turned all the power settings off, reinstalled power drivers and even upgraded the OEM home edition to XP Pro, but the problem still remains.

Is there anything else I could try?, other than this, it works fine.
