ACL problem (XP & Vista Mixed Folders)

I installed the Windows Vista Beta version just to try & feel the look of it... I did it using the second partition in my laptop that I also use with my primary OS, XP Home...
After just try the look of Vista I decided to erase it... and I just edited the boot.ini to remove the option and tried to delete all the folders related to Vista in my D: unit (there are other previous folders I need, that's because I can't format the unit). But I can't delete most of the folders (just a few). For instance, I can't delete the Windows (Vista) folder because it says:

Cannot delete ACW(.exe): Access is denied.

cheching with CACLS ACW.EXE it says:
D:\WINDOWS\ACW.exe <Account Domain not found>F
BUILTIN\Administrators:R
NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM:R
BUILTIN\Users:R

I tried to change the permissions, but I couldn't (using safe mode logged as Admistrator)...

any ideas??? thanks a lot.

I've just realised that it has nothing to do withe ACL.. because I can delete some files...with the same permissions....

so... what's happening????????????

change fields in tab "owner" of windows vista folder to your username, and group "Administrators", select "apply", then add your username, to access permission list (DACL), check "apply for all child folders" and files, and select "apply" again

then delete
