Blue bar on left of window

Usually in my network places, there is a new help bar on the left with links to other windows such as my workgroup computers. That bar somehow disapeared not long ago and i havent found how to fix it. It also usually appeared in control panel, where you could switch the window from classic to new view.

Can anyone help me get the bar back, i need it to send stuff to my other computers before i reformat mine.

Control Panel\System\Advanced\Performance\Settings. "Use common tasks in folders".

Hi,

Open Windows Explorer (My Documents will do)--> Tools--> Folder Options--> in the "General" tab select "Show common tasks in folders"--> Apply--> Ok.
