User Right XP

Hello all,

I'm new to the board... Before posting anything I searched the board to see if anyone else had this problem. As you could tell I could not find anything. But here's my problem.

We being a company bought about 10 computer from Dell that have XP pre-installed. After filling out all the question and lic... I started to do the updates for windows plus also installed the SP2.

We are a Novell shop so I also loaded the log in client for it. When I tried to check the Event Viewer for the Application and System I get little red x telling me "Unable to complete the operations on "Application" Access is denied."

When I log in threw the Novell Client it gives me admin right to the XP. I also check under the XP user to see if I had admin right. I had computer Administrator. So why can't I see the log files since I'm an Administrator? Is there a hidden admin that give FULL access to the computer? if so how can I get to it.

If anyone could help me it would be really great.

Thanks

In XP Pro, press Ctrl/Alt/Del twice at the Welcome screen to get the Administrator login to appear.

In XP Home, the main Administrator account can only be accessed in Safe Mode. The option to logon to the Administrator account will appear on the Welcome screen when booting into Safe Mode.

I don't understand what you are trying to tell me. But I have full access as an admin.... Is there a setting for changing admin right or a hidden account that has full access to the machine?
