Question XP, screen saver & security

I have a problem, more of an annoyance, that just started occurring recently.

My computer will be in screen saver mode, which I am using the "my pictures" option for, it seems to log me out as a Windows XP user on my computer.

Then I return to it to resume working, and touch a button or the mouse, it goes to the Windows XP password log-in screen. Before, I can resume working, I have to put in my password - again.

It's annoying...especially when I am on the phone or something, reading the screen, and the screen saver kicks in because I haven't done anything recently.

Is there a way to disable this security "check"? I still want to be able to use it for the powering up of my computer. But this added "security" is more of an annoyance, and something that I didn't activate...it seems to have happened on its own...or my wife did something.

Any feed back is appreciated, guidance.

Mitch

Display Properties

Did you check to see that under Display Properties, that the "On resume, display welcome screen" box isn't checked?

mercman90,

I knew there was a simple answer if I just put it out to the experts. Thanks for your consideration!
