Ping doesnt work

Hi all,

I am trying to use ping in a command prompt but it has stopped working for some reason.

If I type

ping 81.27.111.165

It doesnt do anything, just skips to a new line. But if I ping the url

ping www.uk8ball.com

It pops up an error message titled "16 bit MS-DOS Sybsystem" saying

Command Prompt - ping www.uk8ball..com
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
CS:06d7 IP:1df8 OP:63 6f 64 65 20 Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

Does anybody have any ideas?

Can you tell us what happens when you type ipconfig ?

If you guys can't see your ipconfig that basically means the hardware is not working and you are not able to connect to the internet. Try re-installing the network adapter drivers

nope i can see it i just cant ping anything also i cant netstat
