I think the problem is me, but here goes:
For some reason, the "free space" available on my hard drive in this case my C: drive is less than what it should be. When I clicked on my C: drive, went into "properties", it says that I used up 4 Gigs of disk space for example. So I wanted to investigate what is taking up so much memory. Being the amateur that I am, I browse the C: drive, highlighted every single folder/file listed, and went into properties. It says that the size is 2.5 Gigs, and size available is 3 Gigs. I checked my "shared folder" because I am on a LAN, there is nothing in it. Where is all my disk space going? That's not the worst part, very often the available disk space goes down and the disk space used goes up, even when I didn't download anyfiles at all? Anybody know if there is a way check where my memory is going, or at least know if this is a common problem? It's never happen to me before, it happened even after I formatted my harddrive and reinstalled XP. Weird.
