Audio Driver Advice Needed

My SiS 7001 USBs (x2) and Open Host Controller have failed and have the yellow exclamaton mark beside them in the Device Manager. The SiS site doesn't seem to offer a down load of the same drivers but, instead, offers 7012 drivers. Can anyone advise me on whether I will need to restore the same drivers or whether the 7012s will suffice and on any installation matters which may arrise.

When you right click on them in device manager and go to properties, what code [if any] does it say is the problem in the device status window?
You might be able to just uninstall and reinstall the device.

"The driver is corrupt or missing" (code 39?). Definitely not there anymore and not on any discs I have.

You could uninstall the driver [right click on it in device manager and clck uninstall], and then click Scan for hardware changes [at the top] to reinstall or upgrade the driver.

i have the same problem. i downloaded the c-media audio controller from MS update site restarted and in the properties of the driver it says "The driver is corrupt or missing" so i try uninstalling it from there and it freezes and crashes the pc. i go to add / remove in control panel remove it from there and its made no difference device manager still says it has that driver. i've re downloaded the realtek c-media exe file try to indatll that and it pops up with unsigned driver thing i click continue and then it just sits there doing nothing, i can't exit the exe file, i cant end task it.

is there a way to delete it manually? like from the drivers folder in system32 or delete the registry key?

any help would be appresiated!
