Multimedia Audio Controller

Hi i seem to be having the same problems
I see the big yellow question mark next to the multimedia audio controller
my computor is a Emachines T 4010 and the Xp is Home edition SP2. i really hope someone could help

Set a System Restore Point before installing just in case

Yes well i seem to be having the exact same problem with my computer, no sound. and i have been without sound for several weeks now and now want my sound back. please help me out ive tried installing it over and over again but it just doesn't work. thnx a bnch in advance. any form of help wud be greatli appreciated

You are the best, Barbara!

I don't ask you a question, but I learn about the way you find the right sound driver for each motherboard... then I do the search for myself, download the sound driver and install it...

Voila! now I can hear the nice R&B singers entertain my ears again!

It depends whether he has onboard sound or a sound card, are there two sets of radio jacks, which driver did you install, ADI or Sound blaster.

Need the make and model of your comp, or the MoBo, get Belarc http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
