Don't forget the Restore Point, just in case, network cards are not my area of expertise, but it's a good chance that your board has this on-board facility

Cheers

i think i'm having a similiar problem. my sound doesn't work. when i go to sound and audio devices, everything is unclickable, and it says No Audio Devices at the top. When i got to Device Manager, under Other Devices it shows Multimedia Audio Controller with a yellow question mark and exclamation point. When i look at the properties it says the driver for this device is not installed. When i click to reinstall it says to insert disk. can i download this driver somewhere? i went to belarc. this is what it says.

Board: Dell Inc. 0C7195

Last December 15, we had DSL connected, and one of my older computers' LAN cards broke down somehow. So I asked my dad to have it looked into and repaired if possible. When the unit was brought back home, I noticed there was no sound! I have no idea how it happened. This is a 2nd hand computer so I don't have the motherboard installer CD, and couldn't install the sound software thingy myself. I couldn't make sense of the previous posts, much to my dismay x_x so I couldn't find the solution by myself. T.T

Here's some info from Belarc: (I only posted the parts that I think would give important info)

Memory Modules c,d

Slot '0' has 128 MB
Slot '1' has 128 MB
Slot '2' is Empty

Other Devices
Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard

----------------

Please help me find the correct driver for this.. Any kind of help would be GREATLY appreciated. T_T

P.S. sorry if i look like i double posted, i didn't know which thread receives the more responses at the moment =s
