erm.. i juz reinstall my windows to XP pro SP 2..erm..i got the same problem as they are.. hope you can help.. and i dunno what are my motherboard model..how do u check 'em? please help me..i cant stand alive without sound from my dekstop.. =p

Hi my computer wont play any sound i looked in the wizard and it has a yellow question mark in front of the multimedia audio controller and says the drivers for this device are not installed. any help would be greatly appreciated.

the computer is a 3.00 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4 and Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (build 2600)

I also downloaded a program called the driver detective and it says that I am missing several drivers: lucent win modem, video controller, via cpu to agp controller,and 2 pci standard isa bridge. I cannot find these drivers. Please help!

I. install the Via Chipset 4 in 1 driver, this will install the agp, cpu and the 2 pci drivers

2. install the VGA driver , this is onboard graphics, your monitor must plug into the I/O plate - explanation here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQzgQ39ovZY
3. install the audio driver
