Don't have sound, either..
My computer doesn't have sound..
I have a volume button on my keyboard- but whenever I click on it to make the volume go up it stays at the bottom
But, I keep hearing a beeping noise..
There is no multimedia detected on Belarc, also.

I don't seem to have sound on my computer. n.n; That is, from the speakers anyway, My computer, the actual PC, makes a beeping noise once in a while when I start up. Anyway, recently, everything seems fine except I don't have any sound. When I checked the device manager, under Other Devices, Multimedia Audio Controller had a big yellow question mark in front of it.
I thought i tried anything can any one help

Dear Bookworm,
Thank you for all your effort and help.. I installed the drivers and set a restore point as you said, thank you for the advice by the way, else i would of been in even more trouble.. I did look under others at all the downloads, but a lot were the same, so i picied the top one.. unfortunately, it wouldnt start up and had to use the restore point. So i'm lost again. do you think i should try another? im just not sure which under other it ois, theres a few.
Thank you for your patience and help.

need more info, make and model of comp, or Get Belarc, copy and paste the report, omit the Software section, it gives Product Codes for your OS and the Windows Critical Updates.
