He deleted it from "Add or Remove Programs" and I don't know how to get it back... I don't hear no sounds from my speakers.

Can you check this to see if audio driver installed

Right click My Computer / Properties / Hardware Tab / Device Manager / anything yellow flagged

What make and model, if not sure Get Belarc, copy and paste the report, omit the Software section, it gives Product Codes for your OS and the Windows Critical Updates.

Bit difficult to find, but it appears it has Realtek AC'97 go here http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...tDown=false#AC

Download the (Executable file) save to desktop, double click downloaded file on desktop to install


Set a System Restore Point before installing drivers just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / select Create a restore point and follow instructions

check this out
Go to Control Panel / Sound & Audio Devices / Audio tab / Sound Playback – click on down arrow and check that the correct audio is selected. Typically the problem will be something “modem line 0 playback” has been substituted for the correct audio device.
