Barbara,

thank you again. I checked this out, and the Windows Audio Service was already started and setup to Automatic. :-( Still 'No Audio Device' .

I was reading an article about people having audio problems with 'No Audio Device' and apparently caused by SWENUM.SYS / SWENUM.INF. I am not sure if it applies to my case as well. I will try that one too.

If you have any other idea, I will definitely appreciate it. And I really thank you, because you spend time in fixing everybody's problems.

*Smile*

Hi, I'm unforntunately having the same problem as everyone else here. My sound is non-existent and can't get the drivers to work. I THINK theyre supposed to be antex legacy audio drivers. its coming up as multimedia audio driver in device manager as a yellow ? ... any help on what to do would be awesome. Happened because I wiped vista and put XP back on, if that helps explain why things arent workin? heres my belarc advisor.
