I am also having problems with my sound. It worked perfectly fine last night, but when I tried to play it today I get NOTHING. From the speakers OR headphones.

I'm not sure what all information you need, but I have:

A Toshiba Satellite A75-S2112
Windows XP Home

Any help you could give me would be greatly appriciated! If you need any more info, let me know and hot to find it (as I am very computer illiterate when it comes to just about everything!).

Thanks again!

Help! No Sound!

I am using a HP DV1000 notebook and I had a hard crash, i restored the system but viruses and trojans remained, I cleared them out but I still have no sound. My Multimedia Sound Controller has a yellow ! on it. And also in my Other Devices tab both the Mass Storage Controller and the Network Controller have the yellow ! and a big yellow ?. I don't know if those are important for anything but my main concern is the sound controller. If anyone out there could help me out it would be much appreciated.
