This package upgrades the Sound Blaster Live! driver and enhances the overall product performance on Windows 2000 and Windows XP. The package also upgrades core applications including Audio HQ and Surround Mixer for optimal Sound Blaster Live! performance.

If you are unsure of which update to download please click here to go to the READ THIS FIRST section

This update:-

* Resolves compatibility issues with Sound Blaster Live! products on Windows 2000 and Windows XP

Requirements:

* For Windows 2000 and Windows XP users ONLY.
* Creative SB Live! Series Audio card installed.

Note:

* This package can be installed independently and does not require other applications in the LiveDrvUni-Pack to be downloaded.
* Older Sound Blaster Live! Experience demo applications may not work properly when updated with the LiveDrvUni-Pack.

Your notes said to "click support". Was that supposed to be submit? I want to make sure I'm doing this right. And I see the Win 2000 information, but not the SP4 designation. Where am I missing that?
When I down load the LiveDrvUni-Pack, it starts to load, then says it can't find any SB card on my computer. But when I start the computer, it says it has found new hardware, and tries to load the Audio Controller, but it can not find the drivers on the CD Rom, Win 2K install disc, or Windows Update. So I'm still at a loss. Thanks for any help you can give this non computer person! Jim.

Sorry should have made it clearer, at the bottom

Manual Selection

English
Windows XP
select Driver from dropdown list

click Submit

this brings up one driver

Thanks. Yes this is the one I've down loaded, but it will not run on my computer. Says it can't find a Sound Blaster card, and shuts off. Even though when I boot the computer, it finds new hardware for an Audio Controller and then fails to find a driver that will work. It may still be that the card is bad.
Thanks again for the help! Jim.

check this to see if realtek is default audio
Check Control Panel/ Sound & Audio Devices/ Audio tab/ Sound Playback click on down arrow and check that the correct audio is selected. Typically the problem will be they something like "modem line 0 playback" might have been substituted for the proper audio device.
