Ok, now i only got 1 problem. i jus have to uninstall some device which has yellow exclamation mark on it under sound video game controllers

However, whenever i on my computer the yellow ! devices appear again in sound video game controllers and i had to uninstall them again which make my com hang for quite a long time before everything is back to normal . Any way to make the yellow ! devices gone forever so it wont appear again?

Hello.... another computer noob signing in

There are few computers in my house (most of them for work) and on one of them i can't get sound to work. My motherboard is K7S41GX. Tried downloading the audio drivers from http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.asp?Model=K7S41GX, tried downloading it from another source, even downloaded some Realtek similiar thing... While the Realtek ones can be actually installed (but aren't working at all) the C-Media one come up with an annoying error :
"Our audio chip provides multi-speaker surround and realistic sound effects. Due to the fact that your computer is not equipped with our audio chip, you can not avail yourself of these advanced features.
For more information, please contact your computer dealer.

C-Media Electronic Inc.
Website : http://www.cmedia.com.bw"

And the installation aborts ;( Can provide Belarc Advisor audit if it can help. Also, this computer has XP Home Edition with SP3.

Any help will be appreciated.

None detected for multimedia as you can see, I recently put Windows XP Pro on my computer, all was going well until I was hit by the "multimedia audio controller problems"

Got a feeling it's realtek but really don't know.

Thank You

these drivers will only work if your monitor and audio sockets are on the I/O plate as shown here http://www.overclockeddoc.com/bookwo...0io%20slot.JPG

go here http://www.e4allupgraders.info/dir1/...ownloads.shtml

you need to install in this order

System - install then Restart your comp
Video - install then Restart if instructed to
Audio

check to see if you need the USB driver, usally the System drivers sorts this one out

Set a System Restore Point before installing EACH driver just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore – click radio button Create a restore point and follow instructions
