Hi, I'm having the same trouble with no sound on the multimedia.
I've just had to re-install windows, overwriting the old one.
Only it hasn't installed the multimedia sound device and the 'belarc download' tells me there's no multimedia installed.
I've tried some of the above solutions, and 'maxdata' have gone bust, so no joy there.
I've got as far as figuring out, the driver I need could be on the 'Asus' website, but I can't find the relevant one.

Please help.

Motherboard is -ASUStek P5VDC-TVM 1.XX
