Set a System Restore Point before installing driver just in case

The audio is Realtek ALC655/650 a more up to date driver here at Realtek download the (Execution file) version http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&Software=True

It's not giveing me the motherboard, the SiS650 chipset is on several different boards, do you know the make and model of your comp, look for a sticker on the tower, it should give details of make and model.
or you can try with Everest ( free ) and post findings under Computer / Summary to see if it gives more information http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/...-Edition.shtml

the only thing I see is Intel Inside Pentium 4 it was probably built by the guy who works on the computers here.. I honestly dont know. I see a bar code on the back and thats it... any other suggestions? thanks so much!!

Try Everest link in other post and copy and paste the report under Computer/Summary, it may give the board.

I am having the same problem, I reinstalled windows xp and have no sound. Is this the info you need? Please help, anyone.
