Another Multimedia Audio Controller Problem

Similar problem again:

I don't have sound on my computer following a crash and reinstall of Win XP. Machine beeps on start-up.

Under Other Devices, Multimedia Audio Controller had a big yellow question mark in front of it.

My machine is an RM
Model number is either NB3000 or 244C10 depending on what sticker you look at.
Can't find serial number sticker anywhere inside or out. But have found these numbers:
P/N 40-UB0096-30
S/N 040708LB0971

Someone told me you can get these details from a file on the machine called rmequip.log I cannot find this file through explorer and I got very lost looking through www.rm.com/support The website says you should put in your serial number and model number but I can't find where to put it.

Help!

Help!

Is your comp a notebook, if it is here is the link to drivers of the NB3000
http://www.rm.com/Support/KnowledgeL...se&sNode=DandD
at top in Search / type NB3000 it will take you to your drivers.

Hope this hlps

It seems that the Dell Jukebox is the default player, I'll look at Dell and see what they say

Cheers
