Just hooked up a computer I haven't used in awhile and updated stuff, before during and after which I have no sound, and only error i can find is windows trying to get a driver for multimedia audio controller which it says isn't working in device manager. Here is the list from belarc advisor. Thanks in advance.

Do you have any yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager? What happens when you tried to install your sound driver from that link I posted to you? Do you get any errors, anything related to Hardware etc or reg errors? Provide more details please.

Also your sound driver is Option 5

I've looked every where for your Samsung desktop, with no luck. Have you tried a Windows update to see if that finds any generic drivers?

You can also try calling, or emailing Samsung direct and see if they can provide you with the drivers on disk or CD or a direct link.

I am still having problems with my audio....I went to the leveno link and downloaded what I thought were drivers for audio and I also did a system restore first and still no sound.

Set a System Restore Point before installing driver just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore – click radio button Create a restore point and follow instructions

I first set a system restore and then I followed the link for leveno to download the audio drivers but still no sound. I restarted my computer as well and still no sound....pls help.
