Hi

I'm having exactly the same problems with no sound. I only have a system restore disc and that hasn't been of any help. I've used the Belarc Advisor and it checked my system and said there are Multimedia (none detected).
The computer is a Trigem Computer NETHERLANDS Advent Series and XP is Home Edition Service Pack 2 (build 2600).
Board: MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONALCO.,LTD MS-6714
Bus Clock: 133 megahertz
BIOS: Award Software International, Inc 6.00 PG 04/10/2003

Any help would be grategully received.

It's a Realtek AC'97 get it here http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&Software=True

There are 3 download sites, if one is really slow just cancel and try another.

No Sound

I have the same problem with my computer with the sound not working. It is an E-Machines T2862. XP Home Edition

hey

seems like i am having a similar problem to everyone else, in that my computer seems unable to play any audio. So i checked my system on Belarc, under multimedia it said 'Standard Game Port'


Anyway, here is some info on my computer:

Operating System:
Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 (build 2600)

System Model:
American Megatrends Inc. K7S41GX 1.0

Main Circuit Board:
Board: K7S41GX 1.0
Bus Clock: 166 megahertz
BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. P1.80 07/19/2004


any help with this problem would be greatfully recieved!

create a System Restore point just in case

i did that but it doenst work...so is there anything else that i can do to solve the problem?? thx
