Windows Media Player 10

Has anyone experienced the issue of Windows Media player 10 causing your computer to lock up when you close it?

Running Windows XP Pro SP2 and the PC has all of the latest updates.

Not exactly sure what caused the problem. Also running SAV 10 and the Windows Firewall is in place. Not getting an error message when the PC locks up; can't even bring up the Task Manager.
