Weird C++ Error playing a game called Iron Storm

The message i got after fixing the video so that i can see what is going on looks like this.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Libary

Runtime Error

PF/DreamCatcher/IronStorm\ironstorm.exe

-pure virtual function call

Any have any ideas thx in advance. I download the patch, something liek 1.4 or something like that. It let me get into the game a play around but i cant adjust the visual stuff in the game.
