XP messenger4.7 complains in MS Word

XP HE 2002 SP1 .. Celeron 2.20Ghz 256mb brand new Siemens

Before update to Windows Messenger 4.7 for SP1
everything worked fine ...

After installing update to Windows Messenger 4.7 update for SP1
everytime I open MS Word 10 it gives this error message and
waits around 30-40 seconds as if looping .. if I click on X in the
corner it does not go away .. the msg .. until the time has run...

Syntax error when doing a row command option.
For help type "Command /?" ...

I get this error even if I open word without a document specified.

Uninstall messenger:

Then reinstall it.

I took the solution 1) from the DOS RUN prompt and it removed
ok .. after reboot it said I had removed the Messenger4.7
and asked if I wanted to remove my configs for this program ..
I said yes and rebooted again and then tried word and I still
get the same error message .. even though the program is no
longer installed ..

I'm ready for another step .. if your so kind to give another suggestion ...

but I have tried both methods to deinstall Messenger4.7 and
reinstall without any success ... then I deinstalled MS Word
to see if that might help but it doesnot .. so do you have another
suggestion for this case ... always rebooting after reinstallation ..
always the same error message ... as above stated ..
