Activate Quick Launch from registry
Hi
I'm looking for a way to activate the Quick Launch toolbar by modifying/adding some registry keys.
The final goal is to create a customized "Default User" profile just by adding the correct keys.
I already written the scripts to fully automate the customization of the start menu, desktop icons, desktop behavior, etc but the only missing thing is the activation of the Quick Launch.
I know I can modify an existing user profile activate the toolbar and then copy it to the "Default User" profile using "System Properties/Advanced/User Profiles settings" and then use the "Copy To" function. But I want to create a cleaner template than this.
I searched all over the registry using regshot to compare hives but I must be missing something.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
