Smooth Font Edges

Hi
Windows XP Pro Service pack 2
My problem is that everytime i turn off the Smooth Edges Of Screen Fonts via Display/Appearance/Effects to keeps turning it's self back on. I have also switched if off using the RegEdit (changing the values to "0" for both Font Smoothing & Font Smoothing Type). Still no luck.
How do i get it to stop off?
Cheers in advance

Hi Flipper, make sure you have uncheck the following:

Right Click on My PC/ properties/ Advanced TAB/ clik on Performance "Settings" and under Visual Effects click on "custom"... Now you wanna uncheck what you were looking for....Click on Apply, ok, etc...

Restart the computer to make sure they didnt come back!!!

Do you have your system set to remember the configuration and changes you make to IT?
