Blue screen error! Help!

NOrton INternet security/ anti virus (not sure which version, altho still in first 90 days)

Hi,

Ive been trying to avoid posting by looking up my erros first but the only place i get is confused?

i was working on my p.c. last night it started to hang quite a bit so i rebooted it
the screen went blue witht the following messages:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

SYMFW.SYS - ADDRESS EF73B310 base at EF72A000 datestamp 4252d4bb

i can now only use my pc in safe mode (which wont let me unsinstall norton?) - please help
