hostile attack

I have windows XP home system. A hostile ebayer succeeded to enter my ebay files, corrupted them, then entered my pc and corrupted it too. I cannot open any of my word files nor create new ones , whenever I try this is what I get: "Microsoft Word has met a problem and must close. Notify this problem to Microsoft"
Here are some of the details: "error signature AppName: Winword exe AppVer: 9.0.0.3822 ModName: winword exe ModVer: 9.0.0.3822 offset 00395C 27" This file will be included in error report: C:\DOCUME~1\PROPRI~1\LOCALS~\Temp\WER35.tmp.dir00\ appcompat.txt
I have Explorer6 and also Mozilla Firefox.
I have scanned for viruses and have none. I have anti spy anti trojan and anti anti and they're useless: ad aware/A2/Spybot/ZoneAlarm.
Now when I try System Restore all restoration points have vanished, I cannot restore system to a previous state...
Does anyone know what I could do to clean my pc from this vicious attack and prevent him from entering again, if possible ?
Thank you
