Genius Friend Lost windows disk. suggestions?

My friend's computer, an HP, got reformatted because it was really messed up. of course, he didn't bring his windows discs with him to college. and of course, he claims he can't find them at his house. He has a valid CD key on the sticker on the side of his computer. any suggestions for getting his windows back?

I'm sure you can get a copy from someone in the college so long as you use your own Product ID. Just let them konw that you don't need their serial number.

Cheers
