Restart before XP finishes loading

I have an AMD Athlon 1.2ghz with 512 DDR, K7S5A Motherboard, ATI All-In-Wonder Pro (8mb), Generic DVDRW DL, built in sound and network with a linksys wireless router with all the unnecessary ports closed and passwords set etc.
Softwarewise I have all the current updates including SP2, also using AVG free edition kept current, Adaware scans regularly, hi-jack this regularly, use Opera for 99% of browsing, and use Thunderbird for email.

Now with that said, one morning I turned on my computer, it went through it's typical start up, AVG loads and updates itself. I noticed it must have been a fairly big update for AVG because it requested to restart the computer. Fine I restart. Bells and whistles go off, then as it's loading AVG, the computer restarts. I thought that was strange, then it restarted and did essentially the same thing again.

So this time I hit F8 while it's loading to try some other options. In safe mode, there was no AVG, but the computer restarted again just after it was loaded. So I choose the 'Do not restart after error' option and as it was loading I got a nice BSOD saying the following:
A problem... IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error yadayadayada, STOP: 0X0000000A(0X006G0066,0X00000002,0X00000000, 0X804E844F)

I did this once more and got the same error, but the first number in the parenthesis was 0X00700015 all the others were the same.

I then loaded up the "use last working configuration" and that seemed to work, so fine I was happy. AVG updated itself, didn't want to reset. Turned off the computer and back on, it was happy.

So now this morning I am getting the same problem with the reseting in the same place, but this time even using the last working configuration doesn't seem to help. I wish I could figure it out. Any ideas?

Also I tried slowing down the processor (it's not being overclocked or anything as is), Also tried reseating all the cards and such, but that hasn't helped.

Thanks a lot

I had no Hardware changes or anything, so I don't think this is the problem.

Anyway, I managed to fix the problem for now.
I went into the Bios, disabled pretty much everything in the bios. It seemed to load up fine. Then I noticed AVG said there was an error in the definition file or something. I have a feeling this is what was causing it. So I disabled it in the start up. Then I had to go to work. So my guess is when I reenable everything, it should still boot fine. Then all I will have to do is reinstall AVG or something.
