Unhappy help me for dial up connecton on xp

I have upgraded to windows XP at home. All hardwares are installed correctly including modem. Even on modem property, computer is communicating with it. But when I created dial up connection, it doesn't find modem. In dial up property, it shows " modem removed ( com1 ) " and I can't go anywhere from there. Modem is installed com3 so that I know it is picking wrong one. Is there anyway to select right modem as creating dial up connection?
Please help me......

Did you go to the Control Panel and use the Phone Wizard?
There is a trouble shooting section there.
Try this first. If not remove the modem in the Add hardware section and reboot.
See if this will cure your problem.

Yes, I did. I removed modem ,uninstalled driver ,re-set and rebooted. Then installed modem again. I also went through troubleshoot for phone( modem ) connection, dial up connection, and network connection but they didn't have an answer. ( or I couldn't find answer ).
Windows XP automaticaly set up com and irq for it with setup wizard. Sometimes it makes easier but this case I just need to adjust manually.... somehow.... I checked bios on motherboard to see something I can do from there but so far no luck....
