Startup problem with windows xp...

Hi, my problem with windows XP is that when i clicked on Kazaa to download something, a black screen came up and just restarted the computer, then when the computer was restarted it goes onto the startup page with the blue screen and the xp logo in the middle, from that point nothing else happens, i can just move the mouse but nothing else, there isnt any other buttons to press or go anywhere, im just stuck in that window i cant do anything, when i restart again the same thing happens, i cant enter into the main windows. Can you please help me, becuase everything ive tried hasnt worked.

Reboot and press F8 (this can vary from system to system) before Windows starts, you should get startup options. Try safe mode to get in and repair or remove Kazaa, or revert to last good config. Have you tried booting from your Windows CD? You can repair Windows from there, too.
