format

hi my friend has alot of crap n viruses on his comp but cant install a anti-virus so how would i be able to format the whole hd then reinstall winxp?

Take a look at this http://www.theeldergeek.com/clean_in...windows_xp.htm

on the left you can choose the graphic clean install and on how to format select letter F at top of page, scroll down to Format all instructions given.

Print them off, it makes it easier and they are always available for future reference.
