Windows Start Up Problem---Restarts in a loop
Ok heres the deal, I went to the microsoft website to get help....but...it didnt help. So, heres my problem, my computer starts up, then it says that the last shutdown was a problem or a new hardware caused this. Well there are a couple of options Start Windows in Safe mode, start with networking, start with comand prompt, start windws with last best con., or start windows normaly. So now when i click any of them, its starts but it doesnt get to the logon screen, and starts up again form the begining, and the samething happens. Well the Microsoft person said that my kernel32 file was damaged, ok, and it said how to replace it. It told me to to put in a boot windows cd, and press repair, after the the recovery console starts, and it tells me all these things to do..ya ONLY ONE PROBLEM IT DOESNT WORK.........could anyone tell me an alternate way to repair it, or how to do it the right way. Ya and I would like to keep all my files so....could you tell me one that lets me keep my files.????? THANKS ALOt..
