Nero 7 Messed up File association

wel i just installed nero 7 i was knda in a hurry and it messed up all the default programs i had set to open my files i got all of them back to normal except one .ICO could somone tell me how to set .ICO back to windows default settings so that i can see the icon files as icons its kinda hard to explain but all my .ICO icons have a nero icon as them and i cant tell which ones they are i hope you can understand and that somone can help me

Control Panel > Folder Options > File Types. Scroll down to ICO and Change/Restore the default setting in the 'Details for "ICO" extension' box.

file association

And if in some cases the Restore Button is not available..

You can run regedit...Goto HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT...
look for ".ico" key. or folder as the icon shows...
change the (Default value) to icofile

this also applies to screen saver...that turns to AutoCAD script file... and lost the Test, Configure, Install in the Context Menu.
and many more file types usually of [extensionname]file format.
You can also check at HKCR\[extensionname]file\ if it is available.
