can't share my printer

i got a new printer but i just can';t share it with my brother's PC. After finishing the networking setup wizard. i can see my PC fr my bro's com at the VIEW WORKGROUP COMputers window but the prob is that my PC is not accessible n it said that the network path is not found n i dun have the permission to use the network resources.....
Both of our PCs are connected wirelessly via a router...
is there a way to solve it?

my spec:
windows Xp pro
amd athlon 2.4 Ghz
512 ddr ram
80 GB

Thanks in advance..

You need to go into Control Panel > Printers > Add a Printer > Next > Put a Check Mark against 'A network Printer or a printer attached to another computer' > Next ...follow the wizard

I run into a similar problem at times running XP Pro as well. I have Norton Internet Security and must on occasion "disable" the firewall initially to obtain a connection allowing me to use the printer. Do you have a software firewall?

You have to install the printer as a network printer on the 2nd PC - the one it isn't physically connected to.

That's what I'm thinking as well at this point. I assumed he already did it from what he said but was suspecting otherwise.
I'd say you made the right call "LooseChippings".
