Can't Do Stuff on Desktop or Taskbar

I've gotten a vrius or somethign messed up I think. Around 2 days ago my computer started acting weird. Here's what's happening...

Can't view images on my desktop nor click them
My Taskbar isn't visable
Many things(mainly folders) freeze when I open them.

Any help will be appreciated.

scan your system for viruses... if none was found. try a system restore

Click Here to open a Kelly's Korner page.

Scroll down to line 195 and in the right-hand column, click on "Restore Desktop Icons and Taskbar" to download a small vbs file.

Once downloaded, run it according to the directions at the top of the Kelly's Korner page.
