XP light build

I have a Dell Inspiron 2600. I have tried OS after OS. I finally got a hold of a lean Windows XP build. What that means is that I is Windows XP, the drivers, and that's it. No extra features. Just standard Windows. My problem is that I can get wired internet just fine, but the Wireless simply isnt working. I have a Siemens Speedstream 802.11b model ss1021 pcmia wireless adapter.
My problem is that because I got the lean build of XP, I didn't get the window wireless connection utility. I tried to use the Speedstream one but it just plain sucks and wont work. I need to know where I can get the windows wireless utility (NOTE: I checked my legit, and full XP disk for it before posting) or something that works as good.

The drivers should be on a Dell Drivers Disk.
These can be downloaded from the Dell Site.
If you want the specific driver ask me via mahdiislam2003@yahoo.co.uk

It's not a Dell driver, though. I need the microsoft Windows wireless agent, not the driver...

I found a driver for that card here:
http://www.network-drivers.com/drivers/176/176384.htm

But as for your question, I have no experience with wi-fi
Only the low-budget wired computing.

I suppose you shouldn't expect everything to work with the "lean" build right out of the box. Remember, there are a LOT of hardware combinations out there, and sacrifices must be made to make a small/light version.

Still not sure what you mean by the "light" or "lean" build... Windows PE? Windows N, the crippled version?

And what exactly do you mean by "buffering problems?"

You might just be out of luck. Take some ethernet cables along with you.
