Unpartitioning / Memory Problems

Alright, so heres the deal

I got the nvidea geforce 4000 you see, and it killed my computer crazy in speed because not only that i had my system partitioned into 3 drives with only 512gb or ram heres where we head toward the problem

i got 2 512 ram sticks from kingston and i instailed it and when i right click on my computer it shows 1.00 Gigs of ram see. But now i go into my partitions and it did not distribute it. So now what i am trying to do is unpartition one of my drives

Heres a picture

See what im trying to do is get that "free space" into my C drive. but that is not the only problem that used to be my "gaming" drive. see if you add all that ram useage together it only = out too 55 gigs used out of 100 wheres the other 55? that i put in with ram sticks? and why the hell wont it let me merge or delete this drive with portion magic or just in general? any help would be greatly appresheated

Edit: Oh another note is, see my computer came with an integrated graph card of 2250 and i changed it to an nvidea 4000, thats the main reason why i got the ram. so basicly my whole problem is this.
MY computer is running like a pentium 2. with low memory even though i put in extra memory. Hoping that unpartitioning my drives back to 1 will help me speed back up my computer. while also finding the lost memory.

Will try to answer some of your problems.

1st: Your ram has not a thing to do with the hdd at all.
2nd: Partition Magic needs to be at least (Ver 8) for NTFS drives. Than you should be able to move D: partition to the right into the unpartitioned space and then resize C:.

What type of files are on D:? If programs do not try to merge the two partitions, or you will be reinstalling the programs. Mergeing two partitions will make some problems no matter what is on the second one.

Only if Partiton Magic is version 8 or above, do not if it's not! There is always a posibilty for the data to become bad and a complete reinstall is required.
