Video Issues??

Well with all your help I got windows XP to reload!! Thankyou!! Now when the computer rebooted the windows screen shows its loading up and then the screen goes black. The computer stays running and does not shut off. I am sure this is a video driver issue How can you fix this when you cant read the screen? I dont have a driver disk for this but can burn one from another computer but again how do you load it when you cant see the screen? Computer is a Dell dimension 2100 running XP

If it's a driver issue (missing or incorrect driver) you should be able to start Windows in 'Safe Mode' which runs a basic version of Windows and lets you install or remove stuff, as well as giving you access to Control Panel & Device Manager. Reboot while holding down F8, then choose "Safe Mode" or "Safe Mode with Networking" from the startup menu.

Well maybe I am missing something here but when I try to download any of the drivers the cannot download to a cd? Hit download now, send to E-drive, wont take??? It is driving me nuts!!! If it is not one thing it another!!
